Responsible for planning, developing, conducting and evaluating continuing education, orientation and training programs for all categories of clinical nursing staff in surgical services departments. Provides and coordinates in-services for other surgical services departments (PACU, Outpatient, Pre-admission testing, logistics, and Sterile Processing) as directed. Clinical requirements include, circulate in womenï¿½s tower, main operating room, PACU, and Outpatient departments as directed by Surgical Services Director in collaboration with department managers.

Minimum Education: Bachelor degree required. Advanced or graduate degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: Two years clinical experience required in Surgery required. Experience in outpatient, PACU, and sterile processing a plus. Five years of job-related experience preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. BLS required. BLS/ACLS Instructor certification preferred.
