In this role, the Phlebotomist obtains patient blood samples by venipuncture or capillary puncture using aseptic techniques and collection skills appropriate to the age and level of difficulty of the patient. Performs venipuncture at Skilled Nursing Facilities, draw stations and enters lab orders as required. Performs all duties integral to the identification/preparation of specimens for assay.
Requirements: High School Graduate, or equivalent required. Successful completion of a formal Phlebotomy training program or equivalent work experience.
Scheduling: 4:30AM - 8:30AM with weekend and holiday rotations
