Manages the entire process and team(s) involved in the execution of transactions relative to mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. This includes internal review across multiple functions including legal, compliance, finance, accounting and field operations of target organizations. Negotiates all necessary transaction documents.
Negotiates deal documents including letters of intent, purchase agreements, operating agreements, management services agreements, and medical director agreements
Coordinates internal review across multiple functions including legal, compliance, finance, accounting and field operations
Supports the operations team with growth strategy development/execution
Manages and collaborates with Financial Analyst(s) to evaluate target companies, oversees due diligence teams, and create internal and external deal presentations
Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner

Minimum Education & Experience:
MBA from a top-ranked school
At least 7 years of experience in managing (as the primary responsible party) and negotiating acquisitions and joint ventures
Prefer prior experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or related field; VP level experience or equivalent
Health Care industry experience preferred, but not required
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
Comfortable presenting to large physician groups/hospitals
Ability to lead a deal process from initial stages through closing
Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions
Strong working knowledge of M&A valuation, transaction structuring, and deal terms
Strong financial, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Self-Starter, with ability to immediately manage multiple transactions
Creative, energetic thinker, not in need of step by step instruction after short ramp up period
Strong team management skills and attention to detail
Ability to quickly understand health care services regulatory environment and to spot issues as appropriate and as necessary
Willing to travel ~5-10 nights a month or more
Able to read, write, speak, understand and satisfactorily communicate with others in English in person, over the phone and via email
