Driscoll Children’s Hospital provides exceptional pediatric healthcare for the children of South Texas and beyond. We are now hiring a full-time inpatient pediatric nocturnist BC/BE in Pediatrics and eligible for licensure in the state of Texas.  Bilingual experience English/Spanish is welcomed, but not necessary for consideration.   

Job responsibilities include inpatient care, coverage of pediatric unit and intermediate care unit, consult service, and participate in teaching third and fourth year medical students and pediatric residents.   Applicants will be considered for a faculty appointment at Texas A&M University and other affiliate medical schools.

About Driscoll Children’s Hospital

The Hospital is a non-profit freestanding 191-bed tertiary hospital providing care to children living in the lower 34 counties of South Texas and is a teaching hospital -Texas A&M University College of Medicine with 45 pediatric residents.   A new state-of-the-art Pavilion includes a 22-bed pediatric intensive care unit, and the NICU was recently redesignated as a level IV trauma care unit with 67 neonatal ICU beds.  There are specialists on staff covering the full range of pediatric care, and surgical services include Pediatric Surgery, Urology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, and ENT.  Medical services include neonatology, pediatric intensivists, pulmonary, gastroenterology, endocrinology, oncology, pathology, and radiology.
