While performing all aspects of the Registered Nurse Inpatient position of providing treatment and care to the specific age of patients served, this position will assess the developmental needs for staff and will plan, organize, perform, and creates educational programs or in-services to address those needs. Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff. Serves as primary support and resource for staff and patients and assists in serving as unit trainer and preceptor in collaboration with others. Responsible for ensuring the very best patient and family experience by optimizing all customer interaction.
Job Duties
- Performs all aspects of the Registered Nurse Inpatient position providing treatment and care to the age of patients served.
- Serves as primary support and resource for staff and patients and assists in serving as unit trainer and preceptor in collaboration with others.
- Collaborate in the development of innovated educational materials for staff to support in-services presented to staff, by serving as the orientee's mentor, coach, and preceptor, completing of new orientees' orientation paperwork, reviewing orientees progress weekly with Registered Nurse Clinical Team Coordinator.
- Identifies developmental needs for staff and communicates information to the Nursing Professional Development Generalist or Specialist, Registered Nurse Clinical Team Coordinator, and Operations Manager.
- Submits necessary documentation to Operations Manager, of performance in the Career Enhancement Program as part of the Career Enhancement Program application process, and annually, prior to performance evaluation.

Position Details
Bush Pavillion 7 (BP7) is a 26-bed Medical/Surgical Remote Telemetry and organ transplant unit that offers a challenging and professionally rewarding work environment. We over a diverse adult patient population on a variety of different services such as Transplant, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology and a host of different diagnoses on our Hospitalist Medicine services. BP7 nurses also provide peritoneal dialysis (PD) exchanges and support PD patients throughout the hospital.
Our current patient care delivery model is a modified primary nursing model delivered by a dedicated nursing staff consisting of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants. The BP7 nursing team is also supported by an experienced staff of Unit Desk Clerks, Care Manager, Social Worker and a Pharmacist located on the unit.
BP7's leadership team is comprised of an Operations Manager, two Team Coordinators, Three Career Enhancement Program RNs, and a Clinical Nurse Educator. The members of BP7 nursing leadership team are dedicated to providing an environment of mutual respect and staff cohesiveness in providing quality and safe patient care.
Will consider D/E rotation or night shift schedule.

Education
Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Preferred)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years-Nursing (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s)
Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania; Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
