Skagit Regional Health has a new opening for an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to help expand a newly established Midwifery program in our growing Midwifery department. Highlights:

• Join a group practice of 4 experienced CNMs and 2 Women’s Health ARNPs. Collaborate with our 7 employed OBGYN providers.
• Call of 1:5 shared equally amongst the group.
• This is a full scope position seeing both OB and GYN patients in the clinic and performing deliveries at Skagit Valley Hospital, located across from the clinic.
• Our Family Birth Center includes 21 LDRP rooms and 2 ORs on the unit with dedicated Anesthesia support. Onsite Pediatric Hospitalists help support our Level II Special Care Nursery. OB Hospitalist program currently in development.
• 32 scheduled patient contact hour work expectation.
• This is a hospital employed position with access to a large, existing in house specialty care referral base.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license.
• 2-3 years of recent full scope midwifery experience is required.
• First assist experience preferred.
• The ideal candidate will place a priority on quality of care, patient experience and collaboration.
• Our ideal candidate will be focused on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $126,222-$135,260 DOE
