Are you looking to expand your nursing skills? Have you dreamed of being a critical care RN? St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a RN to join our Intensive Care Unit team.

**SIGN ON AND RELOCATION ELIGIBLE FOR NEW HIRES**

Unit/Position Summary

We have both a Medical and Surgical ICU in our Boise location who are looking for members to join their teams. Boise's Medical ICU is a 17 bed unit with a RN/Patient ratio of 1:2. On this unit you will see all intensive care patients that have not undergoing surgery to include but not limited to: Gi Bleed, renal failure, balloon pump, ETOH withdrawal, Drug Overdose, sepsis, COPD, Post Cardiac Arrest. Our Surgical ICU is a 16 bed unit with a RN/Patient ratio of 1:2. On this unit you will see post-operative open heart, Thoracotomy, Major Vascular, Neurosurgery along with any post-surgical patient requiring ICU monitory. You may also see preoperative patients with medically managed Stroke/Neurology Patients.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manages care of patients.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree (BSN preferred)
• Experience: 1+ year of RN experience, previous ICU experience will be given preference
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
