The Nursing Assistant works as a member of a team of other nursing personnel to provide direct care to outpatients in the Primary Care clinic setting. The NA is assigned to specific patients and duties but not limited to vital signs including weights and pulse oximetry with documentation, venipuncture/phlebotomy, and acquisition of 12 Lead ECG's, finger stick blood sugar measurements and other direct care related responsibilities. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
