Job DescriptionThis role provides support to all nursing units on the off-shift hours to ensure safe, high quality patient care. Provides bedside education, coaching, and guidance in the care of patients and families, and in collaboration with the healthcare team. Serves as a clinical resource and communicates regularly with the Patient Care Supervisor on the unit needs. Serves as a clinical safety net for patients through proactive rounding to ensure adherence to hospital policy/initiatives. Offers and provides visible support to team members by rounding for improvement and maintaining an awareness of initiatives and staff competencies.Identifies situations and events which require notification
